  • Coordinate MPS 's editorial board, which evaluates incoming manuscripts (approximately 40 per semester), returns critiqued copies of all manuscripts to the authors, and determines which manuscripts are worthy of publication in MPS (5-15 per issue), and prepares the journal for printing.
  • Maintain author and subscriber mailing lists.
  • Perform limited accounting tasks, such as formulating a tentative budget and handling incoming subscription payments.
  • Traveling to conferences to promote MPS .
